The Horizon Europe National Contact Point at the Latvian Council of Science has prepared the Latvian Research & Innovation Partner Catalogue, which provides an overview of 120 Latvian research and innovation teams, outlining their expertise, research infrastructure and experience in the implementation of international projects.
The catalogue aims to promote the participation of Latvian research and innovation organisations in international research consortia by facilitating the identification of potential partners and the establishment of new partnerships, particularly within Horizon Europe, the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
The catalogue features 120 team profiles, representing universities, research institutes, companies, non-governmental organisations and other organisations within the research and innovation ecosystem.
It covers a broad range of research and innovation fields, including health and biomedicine, digital technologies and cybersecurity, advanced materials, climate and environment, agriculture and the bioeconomy, and the social sciences and humanities.
Each team profile provides structured information on:
- research expertise and potential contributions to international projects;
- experience in implementing research and innovation projects;
- available research infrastructure and technological capabilities;
- preferred cooperation partners and areas of collaboration;
- interest in specific Horizon Europe thematic areas;
- contact details for direct communication with the research teams.
To facilitate partner searches, the catalogue also includes a thematic index at the end, enabling users to identify teams according to Horizon Europe thematic areas. The digital version features interactive links for easy navigation between the index and team profiles.
LZP invites researchers, companies, project coordinators and other interested organisations to explore the catalogue, use it to identify new collaboration opportunities and share it within their international networks.
